Healing From Racism Programs' Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/solutionsHFR ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RESOURCES FOR ACTIVISTS: * An Activist Directory lists people by geography, so individuals have a reference point to reach out directly to others when issues arise to get involved in locally, regionally and nationally. (You will need to submit a summary of your background, interests and contact info that we compile with others) * Facebook Group for Direct Action - "Activists, Allies and Affiliates for Anti-Racism & Social Justice Solutions." The group is private, so you need to make a request to be added. This is a centralized place for ongoing communication and strategic support. You must be willing to engage in collaborative efforts and shared leadership approaches. This means you will take responsibility to initiate projects (whether short- or long-term) and/or respond to requests from others who want to take action in some area. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From 2005-2015 through the LeFlore Communications' small business, Fannie's Special Projects included: Contract for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainings (ASIST) - developed customized curriculum and facilitated trainings for Federal Government/ Military (Army, Air Force and Marines); Contract providing Readjustment Counseling services for veterans / military personnel & their families; Conference & Program Speaker / Special Presentations & Consulting on Mental Health Matters; Violence Prevention; Recovery from Abusive Relationships; Healing from Racism; Culture and Diversity topics, 1995-2015; Adjunct Faculty: Lakeland College, Milwaukee —Counseling Seminars, 2011-2012; University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh -- Writing Instructor, 1991-1993; Marquette University, Milwaukee – Journalism Instructor, 1988-89.
