Okey K. Enyia is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. Prior to beginning his program, Mr. Enyia was a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Health Policy Fellow, where he worked for three members of Congress. During his time on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, he played an instrumental role in signing into law the "21st Century Cures Act of 2016". Okey currently serves in the Division of Strategy, Policy, Planning, and Requirements at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - reporting to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. He enjoys giving back to his community as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
